Summary

At United Marble, the Social Media Content Specialist is responsible for supporting the Marketing team by creating engaging content to be used across all channels for our brand handles . This position captures visual content and maintains content schedules while staying informed about trends . This position works from United Marble Headquarters in Watertown, MA.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Develop a schedule and calendar for updates, archiving, and ongoing production of content in alignment with team goals and objectives *
Coordinate with internal teams and/or brand partners on content creation needs in support of United Marble spotlights and campaigns *
Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize content creation and maximize return on investment
Lead the content ideation process to drive engagement and grow exposure for United Marble brand and handles
Prepare and develop social media content to support and enhance United Marble’s brand *
Create content that aligns with performance reporting findings across all social media platforms *
Stay on top of social media trends and platforms to provide new and innovative recommendations *
Utilize project management software to track all projects and manage through completion
Capture videos and photographs of relevant content sources as needed
Assist with social community management as needed
Build, organize, and develop creative asset library
Perform adjacent duties as assigned (Ex: Client Communication, Sales Support, Material Selections)

Hard skills: Proficiency in Google G-Suite required. Comprehensive understanding of social media platforms, trends, and creating content specific to each social platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube) required . Proficiency in social media reporting and analytics, Hubspot, and Premiere Pro preferred.

Eligibility Qualifications

Bachelors degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
2-4 years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Portfolio required
Required to work all United Marble events (occasional evening events as business needs require)

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilize fine motor dexterity of fingers; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
