Job Summary:
The General Manager (Director of Operations) will lead our Operations team, ensuring seamless management of properties, superior guest experiences, and high client satisfaction. This role requires strategic leadership, exceptional communication, and a results-oriented mindset to achieve ambitious operational and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
– Leadership: Source, hire, train, and manage the Operations team, including Cleaners, Inspectors, and Maintenance personnel.
– Guest Communication: Oversee and quality control guest messages; coach the Virtual team to improve responses and decision-making.
– Delegation & Management: Leverage “Who Not How” principles to delegate property onboarding, issue resolution, and cleaning team management.
– Meetings: Lead and contribute to weekly team calls.
– Financial Oversight: Approve weekly payouts and finalize monthly financial reports after Support team reviews.
– Property Onboarding: Serve as the primary pre-launch point of contact for new co-host contracts and lead onboarding projects.
– Maintenance: Use Monday.com to execute property maintenance tasks, ensuring high Overall Ratings.
– Issue Resolution: Address issues promptly to minimize guest complaints, refunds, or disruptions.
– Account Management: Act as the Account Manager for clients during working hours.
– Guest Experience Innovation: Continuously enhance guest experiences with amenities, welcome packages, concierge services, and more.

– Approximately 40 hours per week with Flexible Time Off (coverage required).
– Proficient use of Google Calendar to maintain focus on priorities.
– Outstanding communication skills, particularly with clients and guests.
– Empathetic leadership with effective delegation and team harmony.
– Problem-solving skills to coordinate responses with team members and third parties.
– Ability to manage documents for property needs (e.g., checklists, manuals, notices).
– Proficient in platforms like Google Drive, Slack, Monday, and Breezeway.
Ideal Candidate:
– Experience managing virtual teams for messaging, onboarding, maintenance, inspections, and scheduling.
– Local to Scottsdale/Phoenix, Arizona
– Expertise in improving operational processes/SOPs. EOS knowledge is a bonus.
– Proven ability to solve problems and oversee third-party bookkeepers using trust account methods.
– Experience handling emergency calls and reducing maintenance costs.
– Skilled in listing management and overseeing Revenue Managers with pacing reports and weekly updates.
Compensation:
– Base Salary: $50,000
– Performance Bonus: Up to $25,000 tied to operational and financial goals.
