Job description

We are seeking aSocial Media Marketing Specialistto grow and manage our social media presence as a key marketing channel to build a strong community and drive business growth. As the Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for defining and executing the social media strategy and roadmap, working closely with a multicultural, cross-functional team. Given the criticality and impact of social media as a channel, you will have the opportunity to collaborate intensively with the CEO and COO.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management & Strategy

Manage and develop strategy for social media marketing channels (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) to boost brand awareness and engagement.

Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns that drive brand growth and sales.

Stay updated on skincare industry trends and social media algorithms for strategic insights.

Plan and schedule monthly social media content calendars, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.

Content Creation & Campaign Execution

Create and manage content on company social media accounts to inform and engage customers about skincare benefits and trends.

Develop briefs and guidelines for content creators and designers to execute campaigns effectively.

Collaborate with stakeholders across functions (marketing, product, data) to align strategies and execution.

Customer Research & Insights

Conduct customer research to understand skincare needs and user expectations.

Develop and maintain reports on key social media performance metrics and insights.

Influencer & Affiliate Programs

Build and manage affiliate & influencer programs to strengthen the company’s social media presence and drive sales.

Develop innovative processes and systems to manage a scalable and innovative affiliate program

Leverage new technologies to scale social media communities and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree with ideally 2-5 years of experience in social media marketing.

Experienced in consumer-facing industries (e.g., e-commerce, retail, or FMCG) and/or a passion for the beauty and skincare industry is a major advantage.

Experience and/or exposure to serving users in North American and other Western markets is a plus.

The ability to push creative boundaries to build and execute innovative social media strategies.

Strong problem solving skills, with an ability to handle ambiguity and complex challenges, whilst thriving in a fast moving startup environment.

A strong bias for action, coupled with a data-driven and deep dive mindset to analyze and utilize metrics for continuous iteration and improvement.

Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal, with an ability to collaborate effectively in a highly multicultural team.

Knowing Korean language a plus.
