Schmick is a next-generation social media platform where every post turns into a live, interactive group chat. We’re changing how students connect in real-time, both publicly and anonymously. With a live product and early traction, we are looking for a Campus Ambassador to drive organic adoption across universities and high schools through grassroots efforts and ambassador programs.

We are an early-stage, pre-revenue startup with no external funding yet. You will be a co-owner of this company
Compensation is equity-based only for now until we secure funding.
If you are looking for a salaried position, this is NOT the right role for now until funding is secured.
There is NO marketing budget—we are looking for someone who has successfully driven organic growth with little to no ad spend.

About the Role
As our Campus Ambassador, you will be responsible for launching Schmick across university and high school campuses. This is an high-energy role where you’ll experiment with creative grassroots growth tactics, build a network of student ambassadors, and spark organic adoption of Schmick.
Think early Facebook and Tinder’s campus strategies—your job is to make Schmick THE app on campus.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop & Lead a Campus Ambassador Program – Identify and recruit socially influential students who can spread Schmick within their schools.
On-the-Ground Guerrilla Growth Tactics – Use creative, low-cost methods to get students talking about and using Schmick.
Build Relationships with Student Organizations, Fraternities, & Sororities – Get Schmick embedded into university culture.
Coordinate Campus Launch Events & Growth Experiments – Organize grassroots marketing efforts, stunts, and viral campus activations.
Leverage Hyperlocal Schmick Features – Show students how Schmick lets them connect instantly with people on their campus, no followers required.
Who We’re Looking For:
You’ve successfully grown an app, startup, or student organization organically—without paid ads.
You are outgoing, charismatic, and thrive in social settings—this role requires networking, pitching, and connecting with students.
You take initiative and can execute a plan with little guidance.
Experience running ambassador programs, campus events, or viral student campaigns is a HUGE plus.
You are creative, scrappy, and resourceful—you can make things happen without a big budget.
Bonus: Established network within campus or high school communities and/or experience managing ambassador programs.
Bonus: Experience in executing grassroots or guerrilla marketing tactics, particularly on a limited budget, to achieve high impact.
