Overview
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Strategist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, content creation, and analytics to effectively communicate our brand message across various platforms to our targeted audiences. We are looking for a candidate in the Northern Virginia Area. Our offices are located in Fairfax & McLean. We would like for the candidate to be able to commute to the offices 1-2 times a month to film content.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Create compelling content tailored for different platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
Conduct thorough research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
Develop and managing paid social media advertising campaigns
Monitor social media engagement rates, follower growth, and ROI. Analyzing results to adjust the strategy for better performance.
Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns.
Stay updated on the latest social media tools, trends, and best practices.
Build partnerships with influencers and brands.
Skills
Proficiency in graphic design and content creation.
Strong background in social media marketing with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
Excellent research skills to identify trends and insights that can inform strategy.
Experience in photography and video editing to create high-quality visual content.
Ability to manage relationships effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
A passion for staying current with emerging social media platforms and technologies.
Effective Communication Skills are a must
Must have prior Social Media Marketing Experience to be considered.
