Martin City Marketing is a fast-growing, full-service marketing firm located in the Martin City area, just outside of Kansas City, MO. We specialize in delivering cutting-edge digital and traditional marketing strategies to help automotive and powersports dealers thrive. We’re looking for a Social Media Team Lead who can take ownership of our social media team, inspire a team of talented specialists, and drive impactful social media strategies that align with our clients’ business goals.
Who We’re Looking For
We need a strategic and hands-on leader with a passion for social media marketing, team development, and performance-driven results. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of creativity and analytical thinking, with a strong ability to mentor a team and execute high-impact campaigns. This role will oversee a team of five social media specialists—four based in our Kansas City office and one working remotely from NYC.
Key Responsibilities
Client Strategy & Execution: Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business objectives and implement social media strategies to meet and exceed their goals.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of social media specialists, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
Content & Creative Oversight: Develop engaging social media posts and advertisements, ensuring alignment with brand voice and client goals.
Audience Targeting & Campaign Optimization: Implement, manage, and refine social media campaigns to maximize performance against key KPIs.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate insightful monthly performance reports, analyze trends, and provide strategic recommendations for optimization.
Client Collaboration: Participate in client meetings to review campaign performance, discuss new strategies, and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
3-5 years of social media marketing and advertising experience.
1-2 years of experience leading and managing teams.
Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including SEO and SEM.
Hands-on experience with Facebook, Instagram, and other social media ad platforms.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling ad copy.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and derive insights.
Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about creating high-quality work.
Bachelor’s degree required (all majors considered).
