It’s the sweetest time of year again here at Krispy Kreme! Our10-week internship(May 27th – August 1st) is designed for students looking to make full use of their talents through a hands-on work experience. During your internship, you will tackle meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact on our organization. This paid internship is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to unleash their creativity, work in an amazing hybrid-friendly office in South End Charlotte, and learn from the Most Loved Sweet Treat Brand. You’ll also get the chance to contribute to asweetgroup project where you’ll create your very own limited time offer collection!
As ourDirectSourcing Intern,you will lead and assist on multiple projects and key workstreams. One key project includes the preparation of a packaging sustainability report, achieved by organizing and updating data related to Global sourcing activities and supplier material utilization in relation to key sustainability metrics. These projects will require you to collaborate with internal teams (Global Sourcing, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sustainability) to ensure alignment on global sustainability metrics and sourcing strategies. This internship will provide professional development, insights to corporate-level ERP systems and processes, and experience in the sweet treat industry.
A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Lead key project on material sustainability reporting
Coordinate with global cross-functional teams
Research, collect, analyze, and draw conclusions from procurement data
Learn the Strategic Sourcing team’s daily routines and procedures
Assist with supplier management and data initiatives
Other special assignments and projects as required
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in one of these preferred majors: Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Packaging Science
Ability to work in a cross functional team environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to lead projects with strong organizational and time management skills
Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to efficiently work in a hybrid (remote and in-office) environment.
