Job Description
Public Relations Specialist needed for United Cargo Management, Inc. Min. bachelor’s in public relations, communication or related fields. Min. of 2 years of relevant experience. Develop and execute PR strategies, research media trends, coordinate marketing and outreach efforts, create and implement advertising programs, draft promotional materials, manage media inquiries, maintain customer relationships and support sales teams, etc. Rsm to Work location at: 12501 Imperial Hwy, Ste 310, Norwalk, CA 90650
Prevailing Wage Determined: $48,640/year (level 1)
PWD Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communication, or communication related fields.

PWD Job Duties:
1. Develop and execute public relations strategies aligned with company goals.
2. Research media trends and identify opportunities for coverage that support growth.
3. Assist in developing, coordinating, conducting and monitoring marketing, outreach, public awareness and promotional efforts.
4. Create and implement advertising programs that complement public relations initiatives.
5. Write and edit material for advertisements, news releases, internal communications, promotional events and other public information such as social media posts, executive bios, presentation materials, blogs, white papers and thought leadership materials.
6. Build strong relationships with customers and vendors through excellent service and regular communication.
7. Handle media request and inquiries and coordinate responses with relevant teams.
8. Coordinate project activities internally and externally, build and maintain reports and dashboards used internally and shared with customers.
9. Oversee coordination and booking approvals, support the set-up of new accounts by maintaining customer profiles.
10. Prepare and generate reports requiring the collection and analysis of data.
11. Support the sales team when it comes to the preparation of quotes, liaise with operations team and sales team to ensure timely and excellent service.
12. Assist in the development of any on-going service enhancements for customers.
13. Media coverage monitoring, tracking and reporting as needed, and performs related work as required.
