Sr. Copywriter for the Cosmetic Industry– Onsite
The Senior Copywriter should have deep knowledge and practical experience in copywriting, providing leadership from concept to final asset creation – for many media – audio, video, print, digital, and interactive voice. The Copywriter should be comfortable writing for high-impact acquisition copy, high-turn social copy, and a unique blend of all of this for voice design scripts. You should possess excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. We are searching for a creative Copywriter who is dedicated to crafting excellent original content and who has experience in the beauty, cosmetics, skin care, hair & beauty, or supplement industries. This is an onsite position working with our in-house creative team.
Copywriter Responsibilities
Applying a revised, clear, differentiated, and scalable voice and tone for our beauty brands across experiences.
Delivery – leading in partnership with design stakeholders from briefing and initial concept, completing copy variations and decks on time that also consistently and continually raise the standard of our written tone.
Working with Stakeholders (Marketers, Programmers, Product Designers and Managers, Social Team Members, Video and Audio Producers, and beyond) to understand their needs, then developing concepts and copy variations within the voice and tone that need to be represented.
Writing practice – making decisions and driving adoption of mechanisms that elevate how we approach copy and raise the broader team’s awareness of what’s required to make great use of language and to improve and scale the work across the team.
Speaking with internal and external parties to learn about their content needs
Conducting research to formulate ideas or support writing
Assisting Creative team in crafting copy guidelines for Brand Style Guide
Required Qualifications
3+ years working in Cosmetic product development; packaging, website and flyer content
Skin care copywriting for at least 3 years
Scripts writing for at least 3 years
Cosmetic Ad copywriting for at least 3 years
SNS copywriting for at least 3 years
Able to work independently by the guidelines of our project manual
Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills
On Site work is required. (Residence within 20 miles
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with scaling creative copywriting in a globally distributed organization
Passion for copywriting, language, user experience, creative direction, and editorial design
Experience managing marketing and editorial design projects
Experience in writing for consumer products in the beauty, cosmetic, skin care, hair & body, supplement industries.
Experience in scriptwriting for voice
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 – $38.00 per hour
