JOB PURPOSE:
This position will play a key role in supporting the communications, marketing, and donor relations efforts
of Piedmont Healthcare Foundation. The ideal candidate is a talented communicator with a passion for
non-profit storytelling. This person is comfortable working in a fast-paced role to elevate Piedmont
Healthcare Foundations brand visibility and influence with donors across traditional, digital, and
integrated platforms. The Content Marketing Specialist will support the Foundation Engagement team to
craft clear, concise communications that inform and inspire donors to support Piedmont Healthcare at all
giving levels. The successful candidate will have exceptional organizational and project management
skills and excel at completing tasks with high attention to detail, timeliness, nuance, teamwork, and
creativity.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Development,
Business or a related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One (1) year of professional work experience in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism,
branding, agency, philanthropy, development, or a closely related field is required.
Proven experience in managing relationships with multiple stakeholders at different levels of an
organization is required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Highly professional, reliable, and organized.
Excellent computer/technical skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Proficiency with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design software.
Background and demonstrated interest in philanthropy and nonprofits preferred.
Knowledge of a donor database or customer relationship management (CRM) system, i.e. Raisers Edge,
Salesforce, HubSpot, etc. is preferred.
Experience working in healthcare is preferred.
