Lodder CPA is a leading U.S. international tax and accounting firm dedicated to providing the most comprehensive solutions for foreign companies entering the U.S. market. Lodder CPA is in search of a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team and help us continue to grow our business with the right type of clients. Although our business is based in Lynden, Washington (USA), this position offers the flexibility to work remotely.

Position Objective

The objective of this position is to:

· Generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL)

· Provide leadership and coordination of the marketing function within the organization.

· Build a large, accurate, profiled database of all potential qualified leads

· Build confidence in the marketplace that we are the only choice

· Build content and brand, marketing systems & technology, marketing materials and other assets for optimal marketing use

· Monitor and analyze marketing activity against goals to grow our brand and market share.

· Overachieve revenue and profit targets.

Responsibilities:

· Generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) that meet the company objectives

· Direct and manage direct response marketing efforts which generate consistent qualified leads

· Manage all roles and responsibilities with building the profiled database as required to meet the company objectives

· Develop and implement CRM best practices for enhanced data quality and usability.

· Direct and oversee all roles and responsibilities with the brand as required to meet the company objectives

· Direct and oversee all aspects of the marketing function to identify marketing opportunities and new project development

· Recruit, train, manage and evaluate marketing team members

· Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing, methods, costs and results

· Other duties as requested

· This role may require some travel.

Qualifications – Desirable:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

· 3 – 5 years of senior marketing experience marketing intangible services / products, preferably in a professional services firm.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):

· Direct response marketing experience

· High level of communication skills – both written and verbal

· Proven experience with analyzing market trends and behaviors to uncover new business and sales opportunities

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on driving business growth.

· Track record on creating and implementing marketing plans

· Impressive track record in building and managing brands

· Track record on managing budgets

· Demonstrated experience leading, managing and motivating a diverse team

· Commercial flair and ability to make decisions that impact the bottom line

· Entrepreneurial talent, comfortable moving fast and taking risks

· Proven expertise in CRM software and marketing automation platforms.

· Make it happen mentality

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable):

· Experience in strategic planning and execution

· Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management

· Coaching and/or training skills

· Ability to write marketing copy and press releases
