About the team and role:
eBay is seeking a talented anddynamicproduct marketer to drive inbound and outbound product marketing efforts to create for experiences within partnerships and social sharing. This is aunique opportunityto become an integral part of the eBay marketing team working with the paid media, Mar Tech, design and partnership product teams to support new and existing partnership integrations for eBay listing activity across multiple 3rd party marketplaces.
This role will partner cross-functionally with product, design, research, marketing, communications, customer service, and market teams.
You will partner with research and data science to synthesize inbound research informing your product marketing recommendations across product strategy and go-to-market. You will collaborate with product and design to influence product value proposition and in-product content, will develop the product market positioning plans, and will work across marketing andcommunicationchannel partners to influence execution of outbound demand and adoption plans.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is a catalyst for launching and driving complex projects, a strong communicator who proactively provides status visibility to executives, and collaborates end to end across the product lifecycle to execute with high impact. You have a passion for ecommerce, and a deep understanding of social marketplace partnerships and integrations to drive engagement, sales, and foster our community of enthusiasts!
What you will accomplish:
Success full will be responsible for ensuring buyers’ who come to eBay through partner integrations have a magical first shopping experience on eBay, convert to a sale, and become brand loyal future repeat shoppers who drive the success of sellers on eBay’s platform.
Establish deep partnerships with research and analytics partners, product partners and with outbound channel owners.
Create, write, and socialize product marketing strategies to influence product roadmaps and GTM strategies. These strategies will be informed by your insights from synthesizing market, customer and competitive research, by audience segmentations, and by opportunity size analysis.
Create customer feedback loops during the product and marketing development process to refine the product narrative and value proposition articulation.
Collaborate with product and analytics to collect data to personalize the product and reengagement experiences.
Lead the charge on developing key messaging content such as product value propositions, narratives, customer messaging, naming and external facing proof points.
