Join Our Team:

Adventure Academy of Melissa is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Communication Coordinator to join our team! We are looking for a passionate individual who can effectively communicate our mission, values, and achievements to our students, parents, faculty, and the wider community. This role is crucial in fostering strong relationships and promoting a positive image of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

Communication Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact for the school, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries via phone, email, social media, and in person. Maintain a welcoming and helpful demeanor in all interactions.
School Tours: Schedule and conduct informative and engaging school tours for prospective families, showcasing the school’s facilities, programs, and culture. Follow up with prospective families after tours.
Parent Communication: Create and distribute engaging and informative email newsletters to parents, providing timely updates on school events, news, important deadlines, and other relevant information. Manage parent communication platforms (e.g., parent portals, messaging apps).
Internal Communication: Facilitate effective communication between parents and teachers, as needed. Provide teachers with information and resources to support their communication with parents.
Event Support: Assist with the planning and execution of school events, including communication and promotion.

Additional Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of communication activities.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and make adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with other school staff to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Stay up-to-date on best practices in communication and education.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience in Public relations, marketing, or a related field. Experience in a school or educational setting is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical proficiency with email marketing platforms website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Wix), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.
