Strategic Communications Specialist
Pay: $34.25 an hour
12-15 month contract
1-3 years experience in communications
Hybrid position (2 days onsite in Burlington MA a week)
We are seeking a data-driven candidate that approaches problem-solving with an analytical mindset. The ideal candidate sets accountability as a priority with high organizational and project management skills to lead and track the success of their projects and initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for strategic positioning of Life Science sustainability programs both internally and externally. We are seeking an individual who is detail-oriented and self-motivated, eager to learn and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines.
Minimum Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or related disciplines
1-3 years of professional experience in supporting strategic business programs
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing clearly and concisely
Motivated problem-solver who thinks critically when facing a challenge, with strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and collaborating with global stakeholders
Experience in developing and/or drafting multimedia assets to effectively engage varied target audiences
Previous experience in the Life Science industry is a plus, experience in B2B customer-facing positions is a plus
