Food marketing co-ops gain valuable learning experiences through a rotation program that includes spending up to 4 weeks with each of the following departments:
Marketing: The co-op will understand how to budget and execute advertising, point of sale materials, and various marketing events.
Sales: The co-op will shadow one of our account managers to learn how our sale department functions and how accounts are maintained. The co-op will also spend time with the route sales team understanding inventory management and DSD.
Merchandising: The co-op will learn how to service store accounts by learning to demo products, conduct store resets, call on stores, and roll out new product lines.
Accounting/Finance: The co-op will obtain an understanding of the importance of sales budgets and also learn the accounting of receivables.
Logistics: The co-op will gain knowledge of our how company logistics work and what goes into warehouse management.
Quality Control and Production: The co-op will learn how our products are made and what is necessary to maintain our facilities and our product standard (listeria testing, data management, etc.)
