The Role:
Reporting directly to the Creative Strategy Lead, the Strategist will be fully responsible for global proposals- working end to end as a core member of the Data & Strategy team to create marketing strategies. Whilst we offer multiple marketing services, this role requires a prior background in public relations.
Your role will be to deliver end-to-end proposals for our clients & potential clients, within this you must be able to independently deliver a data-driven strategy proposal, inclusive of strategic direction, creative concepts, suggestions for media and KPI’s aligned to the client’s brief, on time and on budget. Within the role, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of public relations, plus ideally some background within our wider services (social, influencer, paid media and events).
Main Responsibilities:
Lead strategy on proposals, acting as to go-to strategic expert
Be a dedicated strategy expert, with a background within PR
Be able to deliver proposals for our wider services (social, influencer, paid media & events)
Analyse proposal briefs to effectively outline and plan out responses that answer client requirements
Work with teams across the business to create a cohesive proposal that meets the goals and priorities outlined in the pitch brief
Take ownership of the calculation of expected performance metrics and estimate costs
Stay up to date with the latest marketing & specifically PR trends to ensure the company’s services remain competitive and innovative.
Identify emerging platforms and media that can be integrated into proposals and pitches.
Lead pitches, both remote (with webcam) and in person.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
In-depth marketing & PR experience ideally working within an agency environment
Background in gaming/tech
Strong background in creating proposals / strategy documents
Strong understanding of public relations, including gaming & tech press
Good understanding of wider marketing channels (social, paid, influencer, events)
Experienced in understanding and strategically analysing briefs
Highly experienced in creating strategic proposals, with good proposal design
Must be a strong and succinct writer
Highly skilled in time management
Be comfortable leading pitches on camera. Have a remote work setting with minimal distractions
Be just as comfortable working independently as you are working with a team
Experienced with Microsoft 365 – Must have extensive experience and ability with Power point or similar
