About the Role: Short-Form Content Creator (Automotive Content)
We’re looking for a content creator who understands automotive culture and knows how to translate it into highly engaging short-form videos—Reels, TikToks, Stories, and dynamic micro-content. Whether you’re in the automotive world or just great at creating content that resonates with car enthusiasts, this role is for you.
This role focuses on creating short-form, high-energy content for RockEd’s learning platform, covering green screen talking heads, b-roll edits, motion graphics, voiceovers, and interactive storytelling to educate and entertain automotive professionals.
What You’ll Do:
Create engaging short-form content tailored for RockEd’s app, using TikTok-style, Reels, and Story-driven formats (not just for social media).
Film and edit dynamic videos, including green screen, talking head, b-roll, motion graphics, and interactive learning clips.
Translate complex automotive concepts into digestible, high-energy content that hooks viewers within seconds.
Jump on trends that are relevant to automotive training and dealer engagement.
Work cross-functionally with designers, strategists, and instructional content creators to align messaging.
Adapt content for different formats and optimize engagement within RockEd’s platform.
Who You Are:
A digital storyteller who can create thumb-stopping content that educates and engages.
Knowledgeable in automotive OR skilled in making automotive content engaging (enthusiasts welcome!).
A master of short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Stories) with editing chops to match.
Fluent in content creation tools: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, Canva, TikTok editing, etc.
Able to balance creative freedom with strategic goals—entertaining AND instructional content.
Obsessed with trends and engagement metrics, always refining content for performance.
Comfortable in front of the camera OR behind it—whether filming yourself or directing others.
A self-starter who can own projects end to end, but thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Skills You’ll Need:
Videography & Editing – DSLR, mobile, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut
Motion Graphics & Design – Adobe Suite, Canva, Instagram/TikTok native tools
On-Camera Presence – Comfortable presenting, voiceover work, or directing talent
Content Strategy – Understanding engagement metrics & optimizing for results
Trend Spotting – Knowing what’s viral & making it work for automotive
