Role
Description:
As a UGC Creator at Novella, you will play a key role in capturing the behind-the-scenes moments and experiences during weddings and events. This role involves attending weddings, receptions, and other events to record short-form, authentic content, including video clips, photos, and social media-friendly posts. Your content will be used to build our brand’s social media presence, engage with our audience, and showcase the unique moments we create for couples.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend weddings and events (locally and occasionally out of town) to capture UGC content.
Record engaging, high-quality videos and photos that reflect the atmosphere and emotions of each wedding/event.
Create content that aligns with Novella’s brand, highlighting key moments such as the ceremony, reception, candid shots, and behind-the-scenes action.
Produce short-form videos, stories, and reels for social media platforms.
Ensure all content is visually appealing, engaging, and optimized for social media audiences.
Handling social media to create engaging content.
Collaborate with the Novella team to stay on-brand and follow content guidelines.
Capture unique, raw, and creative moments that will resonate with our audience.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends and incorporate them into your content creation.
Requirements:
Proven experience in content creation, specifically for social media platforms
Strong photography and videography skills with a keen eye for storytelling.
Ability to operate a smartphone, DSLR, or other camera equipment.
Knowledge of social media trends and the ability to create viral content.
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests, vendors, and wedding parties when needed.
Reliable transportation to travel to local events, and willingness to travel for out-of-town weddings.
A passion for weddings, creativity, and capturing genuine moments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in wedding photography or videography.
Familiarity with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) for post-processing.
A portfolio showcasing previous content creation work, preferably related to weddings or events.
