Job Summary:
The client of Insight Global is seeking a seasoned yet hands-on VP, Performance Marketing. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large media budgets across various paid media channels, with a strong emphasis on the precious gems industry. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth marketing strategy to acquire new customers while maintaining marketing efficiencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
Drive customer acquisition and retention in the luxury goods and precious gems space.
Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, Bing, and other platforms.
Manage branding initiatives to enhance the client’s market presence.
Lead performance marketing efforts to optimize ROI.
Coordinate and execute digital product launches and marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies.
Manage vendor and partner relationships to identify areas of opportunity and growth.
Oversee a growing marketing team, including digital marketing specialists, brand managers, and social media coordinators.
Report directly to the CEO.

Experience:
10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on luxury items and precious gems.
Proven track record of leading successful marketing campaigns and driving growth.
Experience in B2C marketing, particularly in the luxury goods and precious gems sector.
Prior experience in DTC e-commerce.
6+ years of leading performance marketing for a digitally native business with annual sales $10M+ or monthly budgets $300k+.
Direct, hands-on experience with media buying on Meta and/or Google.
Working knowledge of programmatic advertising, affiliate marketing, and email and SMS marketing.
Managed diverse media budgets of $100M+.
Must be data-driven, well-versed in A/B tests, and proficient in aggregating data across multiple sources.
Startup experience is a plus.
