The Headlines:

In the role of VP Consumer Insights working in Chicago, IL (hybrid/on-site) you will be a part of the Americas Commercial Accelerator team and lead brand, shopper, and

innovation

strategic thinking to modernize the way our brands engage with consumers through the development and interpretation of insights. This role is also responsible for understanding and unlocking the future of consumer trends and developing insights that drive

innovation

.

This position reports to the Chief Commercial Enablement Officer and works closely with

senior leadership

and several

cross-functional teams

.

The Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and coaching through consistent one-on-one conversations.

• Provide strategic brand-building expertise across all the company’s brands. Through management of a team of research professionals, this position will be accountable for driving consistent and harmonized approaches to consumer research on brand insights,

innovation

insights, and shopper insights.

• Drives the thought

leadership

expertise to understand forward-looking consumer trends which will impact how we shape our future marketing plans and

innovation

agenda.

• Motivate and energize the team to bring strategic thought

leadership

to their partners and proactively elevate work to

senior leadership

to enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of marketing, insights, or analytics.

• You have 5 or more years managing large, multifunctional teams.

• You have 10 or more years of experience in thought

leadership

positions, preferably in the CPG industry.

• You have a demonstrated ability to leverage analytics and understanding of brand positioning theory and experience with supplier management.

• You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.

• You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.

• You take accountability for results by acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
