Job Summary
As a Sales Associate & Social Media Manager, you play a crucial role in shaping the customer experience both in-store and online. You’ll engage with clients, drive sales, and maintain an inviting retail environment while also managing our brand presence on social media platforms. By combining your sales expertise with creative digital marketing strategies, you will help grow our community and connect with our audience in meaningful ways.
Responsibilities Sales & Customer Service:
Provide high-level customer service and hospitality to clients in-person, over the phone, and online.
Educate clients on current promotions, memberships, packages, and future appointments.
Demonstrate product knowledge, assist with re-stocking products, and support clients with product recommendations and purchases.
Maintain a positive attitude and take initiative in all customer interactions.
Support Skin Therapists to ensure a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
Assist with training and onboarding new hires for the sales team.
Maintain the distinct Heyday aesthetic, atmosphere, and culture in-store.
Social Media Management:
Develop and execute engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
Create and schedule posts that align with promotions, product launches, and Heyday’s brand voice.
Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with Skin Therapists and other team members to create educational and behind-the-scenes content.
Analyze social media performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach.
Stay updated on social media trends and skincare industry developments to enhance digital presence.
Qualifications
Must have outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills.
Must be confident when recommending memberships, packages, and products.
Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
Must be willing to take initiative and perform duties without direction.
Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of personalities.
Must have a positive, can-do attitude.
Must have a friendly and professional phone and email etiquette.
Must have superior organizational skills.
Must have experience managing social media platforms for a brand or business.
Must have basic knowledge of social media analytics and content creation.
Must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends, opening shifts, and closing shifts.
