Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a marketing content strategist to lead and execute marketing strategy for a project team that is migrating content from an acquired business-to-business brand to usbank.com.
This content expert will be part of a team that develops digital experiences across usbank.com while supporting a larger digital strategy. The work may also include updating branding as the content transitions to the U.S. Bank brand.
You will work cross-functionally with product marketing, designers, UX, authoring and other internal partners to create content with the goal of building relationships with our current customers and prospects.
Responsibilities
Serves as primary point of content for content marketing team, leading strategy
Provides clear content direction for copywriters as needed
Works with team members to bring the content vision to life
Develops scalable content approaches that can be leveraged across the bank as other teams look to develop similar strategies
Able to execute in a brand voice and tone
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically five or more years of content strategy or related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Three years of financial services experience in either banking, Fintech, or consumer lending desired
6+ years of content strategy
Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis on English, Writing, Technical Writing, Journalism, Content Strategy, Communications or Library Science preferred, or equivalent experience
Good understanding of the principles of content strategy and digital best practices
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills; self-starter
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
Agility in thinking and delivery along with proven ability to take direction in support of company goals
Able to balance changing workloads and priorities
Comfortable working with new Gen AI platforms to facilitate content generation first drafts
Experience in a matrixed organization
Location Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,095.00 – $130,700.00 – $143,770.00
