Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our team. As the manufacturer of two premier boat brands (Action Craft and Southwind), we are looking to bring marketing functionality in-house to support our growth. This position provides meaningful career growth opportunities and will play a pivotal role in driving visibility, growth, and engagement across various marketing channels on behalf of both boat brands and in support of our growing network of boat dealers.
Responsibilities
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs.
Create marketing plans for products and services.
Write brand messages, advertising copy, and promotional materials.
Implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media management, content creation, digital marketing, search optimization, website management, email marketing, and event promotion.
Support the planning and execution of events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
Support sales team and authorized dealers by increasing brand awareness, driving lead generation, and engaging customers.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies
Maintain relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
Provide advice to management on how to best reach the target market.
Experience/Skills/Traits
2+ years’ experience in marketing or related field
Strong technical skills and proficiency in programs/platforms/software used for content creation, digital marketing and/or graphic design highly preferred. Wordpress experience a plus.
Skillful copywriter and storyteller with ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
Dynamic, results-driven, self-starter, eager for growth.
Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to travel as needed.
