Opportunity Coordinator – Sales Representative Support

Wausau Tile is a leader in architectural concrete, terrazzo, and metal products, serving architects and designers across the United States. Our sales team partners with industry professionals to provide customized, sustainable solutions for commercial projects.
We are seeking an Opportunity Coordinator to support our sales representatives by generating and scheduling new meetings with architects and firms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable with outreach efforts via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Industry Trends – Review architectural and construction projects to
identify trends that appeal to architects and specifiers.
Lead Identification & Outreach – Build and maintain a robust pipeline of architects and
design firms, utilizing LinkedIn, firm websites, and industry databases.
LinkedIn Engagement – Optimize LinkedIn connections by searching firms and expanding
our network of qualified contacts.
Scheduling & Calendar Management – Maintain an organized, shared calendar for the sales
team, ensuring meetings are scheduled efficiently with interested prospects.
Personalized Lead Nurturing – Follow up with leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn, ensuring
meaningful engagement that fosters relationships.
Meeting & Lunch Coordination – Proactively contact architects in the territory to schedule
one-on-one meetings and lunch-and-learns.
Follow-Ups & Relationship Building – Send thank-you emails post-meeting and check in
periodically to maintain engagement.
Lead Tracking & Reporting – Monitor outreach success, track key performance metrics, and
refine strategies to improve appointment-setting effectiveness.
Database Management – Create and update a database of architects, keeping records
organized for future outreach.
Qualifications
Proven experience in appointment setting, sales support, or customer engagement.
Strong research skills and the ability to identify key decision-makers within firms.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, particularly over phone and email.
Experience using LinkedIn for networking and outreach.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable with CRM software, calendar management tools, and tracking outreach efforts.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with architecture, construction, or design industries.
Experience in B2B lead generation or sales support roles.
Understanding of the architectural sales process and how to engage architects effectively.
