Our client is a very high end women’s apparel brand in LA and they are seeking a strong VP of Marketing & Ecommerce. This person must live in LA, a VP of Brand Marketing and Ecommerce now with a high end fashion brand or prestige beauty brand. No exceptions!
Vice President, Marketing & Ecommerce We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts across digital, eCommerce, and brand strategy. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with deep expertise in driving brand growth, digital marketing strategies, and eCommerce performance in a fast-paced environment.
This role will require a strategic thinker, hands-on execution, and a proven track record of building and scaling high-impact marketing initiatives that align with business objectives. Most importantly be the brands voice/storyteller. Branding the most important!
Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals.
Lead all digital channels including SEO, SEM, display advertising, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
Oversee the development of the digital marketing roadmap, ensuring that initiatives deliver measurable ROI and meet growth targets.
Utilize data and analytics to track performance, optimize campaigns, and enhance digital customer experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Ecommerce Leadership
Drive the growth and optimization of the company’s eCommerce channels (website, online marketplaces, etc.), ensuring a seamless and user-friendly customer experience.
Develop and execute strategies to drive conversions, improve customer retention, and increase customer lifetime value.
Lead initiatives that enhance the online purchasing journey, from product discovery to post-purchase engagement.
Collaborate closely with the sales, operations, and product teams to drive eCommerce revenue and profitability.
Brand Strategy and Management – MOST IMPORTANT
Define and execute the company’s brand strategy across all channels, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning.
Oversee brand development, storytelling, and visual identity, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
Ensure the brand resonates with target audiences and drives loyalty and awareness.
Manage public relations, influencer marketing, and thought leadership programs to further elevate the brand presence.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team across digital, eCommerce, and brand functions.
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented culture within the marketing team.
Set clear objectives and KPIs for the team, ensuring alignment with business goals and consistent performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with other senior leaders (Product, Sales, Technology, etc.) to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with the overall business strategy.
Leverage customer insights, market research, and competitive analysis to inform decisions and refine marketing efforts.
Drive alignment across all departments to ensure cohesive messaging and effective go-to-market execution.
Budgeting & Reporting
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize impact.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing ROI to the executive team.
Use data-driven insights to continuously refine strategies and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
Must have minimum 15 years of Marketing experience, with a high end fashion brand or prestige beauty brand
MUST live in LA. This role is 4 days on site.
Must have deep understanding and knowhow to build brand strategies and drive brand awareness.
Must have deep understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing
Must have extensive experience in eCommerce platforms and best practices for online retail
Must have proven track record of driving significant online sales growth and customer engagement
Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
Must have excellent leadership and team management abilities
Must have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Must have proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
