The Vice President of Brand Marketing plays a pivotal leadership role, focused on driving a

comprehensive, integrated brand marketing strategy to position us as a leading brand in the

functional beverage category. Reporting directly to the President with dotted lines to the Founders, this role will provide strong leadership, strategic direction, and deep expertise in growth marketing and brand development to shape the marketing direction in an exciting, high-growth, emerging category.

This individual will lead product marketing initiatives while creating a cohesive strategy across

brand, content, paid media, and retail channels while building awareness, driving trial, and

enhancing consumer advocacy.

The Vice President of Brand Marketing will collaborate closely with sales and operations and lead a talented team of marketing professionals to optimize our marketing initiatives, strengthen the brand, and drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

•Building and leading a Team: Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a

collaborative and high-performing environment. Scale the team as required, bringing in top

talent to deliver on business needs while ensuring the team has the right resources,

environment and motivation to achieve its goals. Act as a role model for the Company’s

culture and provide coaching and mentorship where required across the organization.

•Brand Positioning & Messaging: Lead the creation of compelling product messaging that

resonates with various target audiences. Ensure consistent positioning across marketing

materials, sales collateral, and digital channels to communicate our value proposition

effectively.

•Brand Creative & Content:Partner with Chief Innovation Officer to ensure the

development of a seamless brand vision and story where brand positioning, creative, and

content intersect. Lead the development of PR strategy and internal and external

communications.

•Integrated Marketing Strategy: Develop and oversee a cohesive marketing strategy that

leverages product marketing, content, and digital channels to drive brand awareness and

customer engagement. Key areas of focus include: customer/shopper, field,

social/influencer, and field marketing.

•Sales Support & Growth Activation: Working closely with VP Sales and Marketing

Team, oversee development of retail consumer engagement initiatives/campaigns both in-

store and digitally to drive growth. Provide the sales team with resources required to build

awareness and drive trial including customer specific retail programs, product collateral,

competitive insights and presentations, ensuring alignment on value messaging.

•Brand Activation:Oversee the development of a strategic and actionable social media

vision, aligned with the company’s goals and brand identity. Accountable for ensuring

management of social platforms, content creation, influencer program/partnerships, brand

ambassador program, customer success program, measurement and optimization.

Oversee field marketing strategy and execution.

•Digital Marketing and Ecommerce: Collaborate on e-commerce strategy and oversee

initiatives including management of direct-to-consumer platforms, digital retailers, paid ads
