Overview
CBM Marketing Solutions is seeking a talented and self-motivated Web Designer / Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with WordPress and specializes in designing, building, and maintaining websites using Divi and Elegant Themes. This role requires a problem-solver who can work independently, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement best practices for SEO, website structure, and eCommerce integrations.
We offer a laid-back, flexible work environment with minimal micromanagement, but we expect accountability and high-quality results. If you’re not truly skilled, we’ll figure it out quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot WordPress websites exclusively using Divi and Elegant Themes.
Optimize site performance, ensuring fast load times, mobile responsiveness, and proper SEO implementation.
Integrate Google Search Console, analytics, and other tracking tools for performance monitoring.
Implement eCommerce solutions and maintain product listings, payment gateways, and checkout processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues related to layout, structure, and integrations.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure seamless implementation of lead generation tools, landing pages, and digital campaigns.
Maintain website security, backups, and updates to prevent vulnerabilities.
Stay updated with the latest WordPress, SEO, and digital marketing trends to ensure best practices are followed.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in WordPress website development, specifically with Divi and Elegant Themes.
Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of SEO best practices, UX/UI, and site optimization.
Experience with Google Search Console, eCommerce platforms, and responsive web design.
Ability to self-manage, take ownership of projects, and meet deadlines without constant oversight.
A strong problem-solving mindset—you enjoy tackling challenges and improving systems.
Team player attitude, with the ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining autonomy.
