Job Title: Strategy and Planning Specialist – YouTube Growth & Revenue
Summary:
We’re seeking an analytical, data-driven professional with a strong business planning and financial mindset to drive growth and strategic planning for our YouTube operations. This role focuses on uncovering growth levers, analyzing patterns, and optimizing our lead-to-admission pipeline. The ideal candidate is sharp, resourceful, and thrives in a startup environment, leveraging data and insights to create impactful strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Analysis
Develop short- and long-term strategic business plans aligned with the company’s growth goals.
Identify growth levers by analyzing YouTube channel performance data, trends, and historical patterns.
Provide actionable insights into what’s working, what’s not, and the reasons, backed by data.
Identify risks and opportunities within the competitive landscape to inform decision-making
2. Performance Tracking & Insights
Build and manage dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across the YouTube funnel (views, engagement, leads, conversions).
Conduct deep-dive analysis to understand growth patterns, identify performance bottlenecks, and suggest corrective actions.
Track planned vs. actual performance across channels, lead sources, and conversion rates (CVRs)
3. Data-Driven Decision Making
Ensure data readiness by gathering, cleaning, and analyzing datasets to uncover insights.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on pipeline inefficiencies and recommend strategic interventions.
Use advanced spreadsheet and data visualization tools to support insights and planning
4. Financial Planning & Revenue Optimization
Develop financial models and forecasts for lead generation and conversion initiatives.
Plan marketing budgets and allocate resources based on ROI from various channels and campaigns.
Strategize and oversee the entire conversion journey, from lead generation to admissions
5. Market Research & Benchmarking
Study historical performance and industry trends to identify competitive opportunities.
Benchmark against YouTube growth best practices and similar channels to stay ahead of the curve.
Provide recommendations for course/product strategies and go-to-market (GTM) plans
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, sales, and operational teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with distributed teams (e.g., regional or center-specific teams) to implement initiatives.
Facilitate communication across departments to drive execution of growth strategies
7. Execution & Hustle
